2024 Chevy Tahoe AT4 Colors, Interior, Specs – After its facelift for the 2024 model year, the Tahoe is expected to be the best-selling full-size SUV on the market. For the first time in decades, the 2024 model year will include a diesel engine and two gasoline V8 engines with as much as 420 hp.
A larger cabin, an upgraded suspension, enhanced handling, and cutting-edge technology is all included in the Tahoe’s spec sheet. These new features are designed to give Chevrolet a leg up on its main rival, the Ford Expedition. The redesigned Nissan Armada and GMC Yukon pose a challenge to the Tahoe.
2024 Chevy Tahoe AT4 Redesign
It was this year when the new 2024 Chevy Tahoe AT4 was unveiled. The third row has 10% more legroom and 66% more cargo space than the previous model of this three-row SUV. With the new independent rear suspension, you have the option of adding an adjustable suspension system called Air Ride. It is the first time Chevrolet has offered a new 3.0-liter Duramax diesel and improved V8 engines. Its 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine is the most potent.
Interior
The legroom in the third row has grown by 10 inches over previous 2024 Chevy Tahoe AT4 tests, demonstrating the enhanced rear headroom. On the left side of the steering wheel are some controls that are difficult to see, and the inside of the cockpit itself lacks any originality. However, the materials used in the interior design aren’t appealing.
There’s a good reason why the center console’s motorized sliding mechanism isn’t just a curiosity. Several new features have been added to the latest model since its predecessor. Three climate settings, a Wi-Fi hotspot with 5G LTE, heated front seats, and remote start round out the vehicle’s features list. In addition, the entry-level model has a Wi-Fi hotspot with 5G LTE capability.
Engine
The automatic transmission and 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque are the outputs of the naturally aspirated 5.3-liter V8 engine. An antiquated six-speed transmission once accompanied this powerplant. The new 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine from Duramax delivers 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque in the new 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine. The 6.2-liter V8 engine delivers 420 horsepower while maintaining the torque output of the diesel engine. V8 engines with cylinder deactivation technology are more fuel-efficient.
While the new Tahoe’s basic V8 engine can get the job done in the city, its sluggish nature encourages more leisurely driving than a hasty trip from point A to point B. During our testing, we observed that this engine is a bit laggard. As a result, if you can afford it, we recommend getting a new computer. For easy passing, diesel engines may appeal more to those who want to save money on gas, but we prefer the 6.2-liter V8 engine for an easy death.
2024 Chevy Tahoe AT4 Release Date and Price
The base 2WD LS model of the 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe costs $49,000 in the United States. For the same price, you can have a Z71 with 4×4 capability ($59,200), LT ($53,800), RST ($57,100), and Premier ($62,600). With a starting price of $68,100, the High Country is the most expensive model in the lineup (with the diesel engine). All fares include a $1,295 tax at the final destination. The least expensive trim levels of each vehicle are also included.
