Nevertheless, it’s never too late. The Traverse is a three-row midsize crossover that is one of the major competitors in its market, and it comes standard with a generous amount of interior space. The absence of softness in certain materials, most notably the top trims, does not wholly detract from the interior’s aesthetic value. The RS we drove was equipped with the optional second-row captain’s seats, bringing the total seating capacity to seven. Standard equipment includes a bench for the second row. Also, our favorite color combination was Jet Black and Spicy Red. Engine
Although the 3.6-liter V6’s 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque are not the most advanced in their class, they are trustworthy. Like the vast majority of typically aspirated engines, this engine functions with a linear and smooth power delivery. Because of this, the Traverse is a joy to drive both in the city and on the highway, where it is happy to stay at the speed limit.
