As an added bonus, the Premier and High Country trim levels come standard with an eight-inch color driver information display.
Interior
For the most part, buyers in this market category find the inside of the 2024 Chevy Equinox appealing. Having a lot of room, a variety of storage options, and an ergonomic design make it easy to carry your family. In spite of the lack of softness in certain materials, such as the top trimmings, the functional interior’s charm remains intact. There are a number of options available to modify the base model, including all-wheel drive, heated and ventilated front seats, and wireless phone charging.
With the captain’s chairs installed in the second row, the RS has a total of seven seats. A second-row bench is included as standard equipment. Jet Black/Spice Red was also our favorite color combination. The abundance of power outlets and USB connections in the cabin will be appreciated by passengers traveling with electronic devices.
Engine
Even if it lacks the most cutting-edge technology, the 3.6-liter V6’s 310 engine and 266 lb-ft of torque make it a competitive vehicle in its class. This engine’s power delivery is linear and smooth, which is typical of naturally aspirated engines. Thus, the Traverse is a joy to drive both in the city and on the highway, where it happily cruises at the legal limit.
A nine-speed automatic gearbox drives the V6. The transmission was adequate in terms of smoothness and responsiveness for a midsize crossover. Even with more expensive new cars, we are unable to provide this guarantee.
2024 Chevy Equinox Release Date and Price
There is a starting price of $33,700 for the 2024 Chevy Equinox LS. It costs $36,200 for the LT Cloth, $38,900 for the LT Leather, and $44,200 for the RS. The Premier costs $46,600, but the Chevy Equinox in the High Country costs well over $50,000. The $1,195 US destination fee and any additional costs are not included in this pricing. The basic model may be upgraded from FWD to AWD for an extra $2,000, while all other trim levels have the same price.
